African Crash places one of Africa’s most recognisable animals at the heart of the design: the rhino. Hand-drawn rhinos move across the scarf in different forms and scales, layered with earthy tones, organic textures and a border inspired by the patterns of the African prints.
The design feels bold without being loud. Soft blues, warm golds and natural tones give the scarf an understated palette, while the illustrated rhinos reveal more detail the closer you look.
Part of Chapter Three: Africa, African Crash celebrates the character and quiet strength of an animal that has become inseparable from the story of the continent.
