Wild Horizon is a study in contrast and depth - bold leopard markings in rich brown and soft gold layered over watercolour brushstrokes in deep navy and warm earth tones. The result is a composition that feels both untamed and painterly, as though the African landscape itself has been captured mid-movement.
Up close, the design reveals itself slowly. The leopard print anchors the piece with raw, natural energy, while the fluid watercolour washes of navy and brown soften the contrast - giving Wild Horizon a wonderfully organic, hand-crafted feel.
Designed as a sarong, Wild Horizon’s generous 99 × 170 cm size gives the artwork room to move. Lightweight and flowing, it can be wrapped and tied in different ways, with the leopards, watercolour and print revealing themselves differently each time it is worn.
